Founded in 1991 Coatings Associates, Inc. is an association of coating manufacturers desiring to share in the benefits of cooperative research.

Industry technical problems can be overcome with a cooperative effort more readily than on an individual basis. Coatings Associates, Inc. acts as a clearing house for technical problems or questions of individual members.

Monthly technical reports covering raw material evaluations, member paint studies and exposure test fence studies are sent to member companies. Projects originate in house or from members companies.

Coatings Associates, Inc. has group technical meetings that enable members to share problems and solutions with other members.
